Sankat Mochan Bade Hanuman ji Temple:

Located near the Allahabad Fort, this is one of the popular religious places to visit in Allahabad. The Bade Hanuman Mandir, popularly known as the Lete Hanuman Mandir, is dedicated to the monkey god Hanuman. The temple is an underground pit with a huge reclining statue of Hanumanji, which is six to seven feet below the ground. This is the only Hanuman temple in the world where the idol is in a reclining position.

Mankameshwar Temple:

This temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva. It is believed that Lord Shiva fulfills the wishes of his devotees.The temple is situated on the banks of the Ganges River.

Bharadwaj Ashram:

This is an ancient ashram or hermitage believed to have been established by the sage Bharadwaj. It is believed that Lord Rama visited this ashram during his exile. The ashram houses a number of temples, including one dedicated to Lord Shiva. It is a popular pilgrimage site, especially for those seeking blessings for knowledge and education.

Nagvasuki Mandir:

This temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and the serpent goddess Nagvasuki.  It is believed that Lord Shiva saved the people of Prayagraj from a deadly snakebite by swallowing the poison himself. The temple is situated on the banks of the Ganges River.

Dashaswamedh Temple of Lord Bhramha:

This temple is dedicated to Lord Brahma, the creator god.  It is one of the few temples in India that is dedicated to Lord Brahma. The temple is situated on the banks of the Ganges River. 

Alopi Devi Mandir

Prayagraj houses a unique temple dedicated to Goddess Sati – the Alopi Devi Mandir. Unlike traditional temples, this shrine does not contain an idol or any physical representation of the goddess. Instead, devotees worship a cradle, imbuing it with special significance.

Someshwar Mahadev Temple, Prayagraj:

This temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva. It is believed that the lingam in the temple was installed by Swayambhu. The temple is situated on the banks of the Ganges River.

Patalpuri Temple:

Masurian Mata Mandir:

This temple is dedicated to Goddess Durga. It is believed that the goddess appeared here to protect the people of Prayagraj from a demon. The temple is situated on the banks of the Yamuna River.

ISKON Temple, Prayagraj:

This temple is dedicated to Lord Krishna and Radha.  It is one of the many ISKCON temples in India. The temple is situated in the heart of the city.

Hanuman Temple, Civil Lines Prayagraj:

This temple is dedicated to Lord Hanuman. It is one of the most popular Hanuman temples in Prayagraj. The temple is situated in the Civil Lines area of the city.
