Cancellation & Refund Policy

At Prayag Tourism, we value your time and trust. We understand that travel plans can change unexpectedly. To ensure a transparent and smooth experience for all our guests, we have established the following Cancellation and Refund Policy.

1. Cancellation Policy

To cancel a booking, customers must follow the official procedure outlined below. Verbal cancellations made to drivers or third parties will not be accepted.

How to Initiate a Cancellation:

  • Please contact our 24×7 Customer Care Helpline immediately at +91 95553 13526.

  • A cancellation is considered valid only after you receive a formal confirmation from the Prayag Tourism team.

Cancellation Tiers & Charges:

  • Pre-Processing Stage (Zero Cancellation Fee): If you request a cancellation before your hotel, flight, or cab bookings have been processed by our team, no cancellation fee will apply.

  • Standard Cancellation (10+ Days Prior): For cancellations confirmed 10 days or more before the scheduled tour or pickup date, no cancellation fee applies. You are eligible for a full refund of your advance payment.

  • Late Cancellation (Within 10 Days): For cancellations made within 10 days of the scheduled pickup, a cancellation fee will apply. In this scenario, the advance payment is non-refundable and will be forfeited to cover operational costs and reservation holds.

2. Force Majeure (Unforeseen Circumstances)

In the event that a tour must be cancelled due to uncontrollable external factors (“Force Majeure”), we are committed to protecting your investment.

  • Qualifying Events: Natural disasters (floods, earthquakes, epidemics), civil unrest, strikes, or government-mandated lockdowns.

  • Our Solution: We will provide a Credit Voucher for the full advance amount paid.

  • Voucher Validity: This voucher has no expiration date and can be redeemed for any future booking with Prayag Tourism.


3. Refund Policy

Refunds are processed based on the timing of the cancellation and the conditions mentioned above.

Processing Timeline:

  • Approved refunds will be processed within 7–10 business days from the date of cancellation confirmation.

  • Please Note: Prayag Tourism is not responsible for delays or transaction failures caused by incorrect bank details provided by the customer.

Service Disruption Vouchers: In rare cases where Prayag Tourism must cancel a service due to operational issues (e.g., unexpected road closures, vehicle breakdowns, or driver unavailability), we may issue a Credit Voucher for the full advance amount, redeemable for future travel.

4. Terms & Conditions

Direct Payments: Prayag Tourism accepts no liability for payments made directly to drivers or unauthorized third parties. Refunds or vouchers will strictly not be issued for such transactions. Please ensure all payments are made through official Prayag Tourism channels.

Driver Interactions: While we vet our staff carefully, Prayag Tourism is not liable for personal losses caused by independent driver actions. However, we are committed to customer safety and will assist in resolving any disputes reasonably and promptly.

Code of Conduct: We maintain a zero-tolerance policy regarding misconduct. Prayag Tourism reserves the right to terminate a booking without refund if a traveler exhibits abusive behavior (physical or verbal) toward our staff, drivers, or fellow travelers. Legal action may be taken if necessary.
